Zephir has been shooting for more almost 4 decades. Now Vancouver based, Zephir has contributed to various photographic group shows and held solo exhibitions in Ottawa. His first Vancouver exhibition was in the fall of 2006. Zephir photography is part of collections in Vancouver, Pemberton, Ottawa, and Houston. "Sunrise at Gut Lake" was chosen for the cover of vocalist Corlynn Hanney's "Shine" CD in 2004 (Zephir also produced the portraits for the inner sleeve and back cover). The Capital Chordettes, a chorus of 75 women singers from the Ottawa area, chose from the ever growing fireworks series "Works of Fire" the cover of their 1997 recording "Celebrate in Song". From 1996 through 1998 Zephir photography accompanied a number of feature articles for a writer at Coastal Grower magazine; included in that series was the magazine's May 1997 cover composition. Reoccurring themes in Zephir's work are fireworks, the environment, and architecture.
